It's a bird! It's a plane! It's going down!

I just read this story about a animal activist group spying on hunters with a mini drone. The hunters didn't like that too much and decided to "mistake" the drone for a bird. Needless to say, if you play with fire, you're going to get burnt.

What If Chicago?

A while back a group of people in Chicago had a Twitter campaign aimed at trying to brainstorm ideas on how to curb gun violence in the city. After a few days of #whatifchicago trending it was over. I haven't heard much since then. Until today.

Lawmakers have approved a "violence tax" on firearms sold in Cook County. 25$ will be added to every firearm purchased. Apparently, in the eyes of these law makers, all gun owners are criminals. They are under the impression that Chicago 's skyrocketing murder rates are the result of law-abiding citizens voluntarily subjecting themselves to background checks by buying from a reputable dealer. I never thought California would look good, but compared to Chicago, we have it made here.

Epic Rap Battles of History

Time to shine a little humor on this presidential Race. This is a pretty good epic rap battle with a little twist thrown it. You will enjoy it.

Age of entitlement.

Its frustrating being part of a generation who feels they are entitled to anything and everything. I walk around my college campus and I see posters and signs for socialists parties. Signs stating that "capitalism has failed, time for real change."
I see young people my age with a sense of entitlement they didn't earn. They believe that everything is owed to them and they shouldn't have to work to achieve their goals. School should be paid for, they should be handed jobs, money should be stripped from the wealthy and distributed to the poor. When was the shifting point? When did the American dream go from working hard to achieve anything and becoming wealthy to; be lazy, protest and occupy, whine and cry, and take what you feel you deserve without earning it.

I'm ashamed to be a part of this generation. America used to be a nation that promoted hard work and sacrifice, in return for wealth and prosperity. Now it promotes laziness and entitlement. Where the rich guys are the bad guys. Maybe its the parents fault. Maybe its the media. Whatever it is its only going to get worse. Entitled kids will grow and raise their kids to be entitled. The slippery slope to the end of the American dream.

Obama-Romney Debate: Hopeful talking points.

Tonight marks the first debate between Obama and Romney. I think everyone should take time and watch at least part of it. Not for the content of the debate, because i can guarantee you that both sides already have an amazing collection of pre-approved and well memorized responses. We should watch the reactions of each candidate, their speaking style, and how much seems scripted. We all know that Obama very rarely speaks from the hip. He goes nowhere without his teleprompters. Most of a persons character and true beliefs come from those little moments where the words seem from the heart.

The Democratic party has been busy trying to downplay this debate. Stating that Romney has been practicing quite a bit while The president has been busy with "Presidential Duties," such as Golf, Parties with Jay-z, trips to Vegas, and apologizing to the Islamic extremest for hurting their feelings.  Well the earlier part has been said, the later may be a little of my own thoughts.

With that said, Both candidates should be well prepared. If they aren't, they are in the wrong business. The president of the United States has been in office for almost 4 years now. If he isn't prepared to defend his own choices he may have a problem. Romney will come out swinging and the President should have no problem defending his policies seeing as he was the one who created them.

Here are some key talking points i hope come up, (but probably wont)
     1. Who is more in touch with the "poor man" - Romney is being lambasted for being out of touch and too rich. While Obama just bought a $40,000,000 estate in Hawaii. I'm interested to see who comes off as more "poor."

     2. Lockheed Martin layoffs - With the coming automatic defense spending cuts, The defense contractor Lockheed Martin is forced to lay off almost 200,000 people in the United States. Under federal law they must inform the employees ahead of time. Yesterday the President told Lockheed to hold off on the layoff notices. Breaking federal law. He told them to hold off until January. After the elections. Why you might ask? Because, if there are 200,000 layoffs right before an election, that doesn't bode well for the Incumbent.

     3. Fast and Furious. While i know very little of this will actually be talked about. In my heart of hearts i hope that this completely takes over the entire debate. The fact that the DOJ/ATF under Obama and Eric Holder openly sold guns to Mexican drug cartels to try to create new gun control laws here in America absolutely enrages me. Those same guns have been found in the hands of Captured drug cartel leaders, and have been used to kill our boarder patrol agents. http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/01/univision-juarez-drug-cartel-leader-el-diego-was-captured-with-fast-and-furious-weapons/

    4. Last but not least, Gun Control. Both of these candidates are say one thing-do the other, type of people on gun control issues. The spokesman for the white house, Jay Carney, has said on multiple occasions that the President supports reinstating the failed Clinton era "Assault Weapons Ban." While Romney has taken the stance of his party, saying he wants no new gun control, including the failed Clinton ban. Although he says that now. While he was the Governor of Massachusetts, he signed into law an Assault Weapons ban. So, as you can see, I don't trust either one of these men. But it does help that the GOP party specifically said they will not reinstate the ban, and the Democratic party said they will. That makes my vote pretty easy to make.

The last piece of advise i can give is this; Make up your own mind. Do your own research. Think for yourself and vote on the policies that matter most to YOU, while remembering we have a Constitution to uphold and protect. Don't watch the after reports, The news is extremely biased towards Obama. No matter what he says, MSNBC will think he is the second coming of Jesus. The same can be said about Romney and FOX.

"Non toxic bullets"

"Non toxic bullets" has to be the most entertaining group of words I've ever laid my eyes upon. It doesn't even require any explanation to prove the stupidity behind that line.

Starting at the beginning. A few months after the electron in 08 the Environmental Protection Agency took on lead ammunition. Saying it poisons the wildlife and they tried to outlaw it. Forcing us to choose "non toxic" alternatives. Even though its been proven that the lead used in creating ammunition is not the same as the lead found in paint, and there is no scientific evidence to show that it has hurt anything other than what the bullet actually hits.

The real goal here is what is known as "back door gun control." If you can't eliminate guns, eliminate the ammo. This would do nothing more than creating massive shortages. The prices would sky rocket. Lead is cheap and perfect for making bullets. It expands when it hits targets and stops. Helping prevent over penetration, keeping rounds from hurting things that weren't intended to be hurt. An example is a round made with a steel core. Preventing "mushrooming." This round does not expand and will not slow down. Creating what we know as "armor piercing" rounds. Which you can't get in California.

What this really would mean is a massive loss of jobs. There are only a few things still made in America. Cars, guns and related accessories. By outlawing lead ammunition we would lose thousands of jobs instantly in the ammunition business. Then eventually hundreds of thousands in the gun making and gun accessories business. At a time when the economy is only getting worse we shouldn't be trying to eliminate the only sector of the economy that is actually growing.

Hopefully the Sportsmans act will prevent this from being a problem.

Thank you Senator John Tester from Montana. A democrat trying to help us gun owners. Surprising.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither Liberty nor safety."

After reading this Story, This famous quote by Benjamin Franklin shot into my mind. "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither Liberty nor safety." I can't even begin to think of a quote more fitting for today's mindset.

I will summarize the story for those who would like to save time, The mayor of East St. Louis is creating a new rules for all miners, that includes, but not limited to; can not be on the streets without a parent after 10, or during school hours, no loitering of any kind, not permitted to do anything without a parents except go to school, work, church, or after school activities. Will be subject to searches at all hours, moving cars will be stopped and searched, and not allowed to wear red or blue.

Lets commence with the commentary. While i understand that most gang members wear blue and red, you think he (the mayor) would understand that living in a city that is home to the St. Louis Cardinals (red) and St. Louis Rams (blue), that it may be difficult and time consuming to search every person wearing a jersey on game day. Not to mention there are other extremely prominent gangs that wear white and yellow.

That brings me to the most important issue at hand, the complete lack of respect for the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. All of the obvious is at play here. The illegal search and seizure. No probable cause. His explanation for probable cause, The wave of crime, is not cause. The rise in crime does not mean every citizen is a criminal. Treating everyone as if they are already guilty is not the best way to create relationships with a community that already lacks trust in its police force.

This particular quote is quite worrisome, “Vehicles that are moving will be stopped and searched for guns, weapons, drugs, and open alcohol and any other violations that are taking place,” Parks later told KMOX’s Mark Reardon. “People who are walking, people who are bicycling, can be stopped and searched for the same and, when it comes to state IDs, we’re going to be confirming that state IDs are in place for everyone involved.”
I am sorry, but i do not care what has happened 4 blocks/streets/towns or counties over, unless you have a warrant to search my vehicle you will not be allowed to do so. Driving does not constitute a crime, Walking does not constitute a crime. Did this guy get his ideas from Mayor Bloomberg up in New York?

Some people may think this isn't a big deal, seeing as it only pertains to minors. That may be true in the idea of the new rules. In practice, that is a major fallacy. How often can you tell if the person driving a car at night is 17 or 19? how about a person walking down the street, Are they 18 or 16? I feel as though this new tactic will be abandoned very quickly for these reasons and a few others.

Does he really have the financial support to back such a major increase in a police officers work load? and thinking long term here, businesses will be losing money because people are going to be afraid to leave their house at night.

The police state that this man is trying to create is scary to say the lease. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

"Let us remember that Muslims have suffered the most at the hands of extremism."

I read the transcript from Obamas speech to the UN yesterday. The most shocking thing about the speech is that it actually occurred. Obama actually took time away from being on the View and partying with Jayz to do something quasi important. Although I think the UN is a joke in its own right.

One line stood out"Let us remember that Muslims have suffered the most at the hands of extremism." I can't help but get the feeling that this man is trying to come up with ways of defending the people who attack us. He keeps blaming the video for instigating terrorist attacks. I don't care if I called their mamas fat, they can't kill our guys and get away with it. But they are. This video had less than 5000 on youtube views when the attacks began. I could upload a picture of my garage door on youtube and get more hits than that. The attacked on our men happened on the anniversary of 9-11. That video had been up for months before the attacks occurred. Clearly this wasn't a spur of the moment protest gone bad.

There our president is. Making excuses and apologizing. Taking out tv ad time in Pakistan apologizing. Where is your spine? He trusts the Muslim brotherhood more than his own people. At one embassy the Marines and guards weren't allowed to carry live ammo. He will trust a radical Islamic group to protect people they don't care about but won't trust Americans with guns. This man has something up his sleeve and I don't trust him, Hillary, or the UN.

Back to the quote on hand. A man whos country (if you believe he was born here) was attacked multiple times by extremists, a man who seriously has to have heard about the holocaust, has to know that only in Israel are Christians allowed to practice their religious right, has the audacity to say that Muslims have been hurt the most by Muslims? How can he even say that with a straight face? Why does he continue to make excuses for these people who will kill you and themselves in the name of their false god. I'm not religious at all but I know any religion worth a damn is built on love and peace. Not vengeance and war. This isn't the middle ages. These people need to be held accountable for their actions. Not protected and given a free ride.

Religious freedom and free speech.

Ask anybody who knows me and they will tell you i speak myf mind. Especially when it comes to religion and free speech.

I practice no religion. I believe in no god. With that being said, I have no problem with anyone who practice any religion. I personally don't believe one belief is any more right than another. But news is surfacing that Hillary Clinton is working with the UN to effectively criminalize making fun of Islam. On top of that countries in the middle east are asking for the same.

I'm a jokster, I will make fun of anything and everything. Either it is all fair game or none of it is. I will not be told it is okay to make fun of Christians but not Muslims. I will not be pushed around by the "terrorist." Don't misinterpret what I am saying here. I am not calling Muslims territories. What i am saying is simple. If you threaten violence if we practice our constitutional right of free speech, you are a terrorist. If we comply, you have won. I will not ever shut my mouth to satisfy you. Or any other person I might offend. If I offend you that is your problem.

Luckily I live in America, protected by the constitution, what is left of it anyway. (Thanks Obama.) The bill of rights is our best friend. If you want to take away my first amendment right, expect to get familiar with my second.

Department of Justice; or so you think.

The department of justice has many faults that are too in depth to go into here. Ill be talking about the Fast and Furious operation shortly. Today news comes that Eric Holder has another henchman to run along side him and take the freedoms away from America. The number 3 spot at the DOJ was up for grabs. It needed a great lawyer to step in and deliver, justice, as their name implies. The number 3 spot is in charge of the administrations policy regarding terrorists detainees. The man Mr. Obama has appointed to that spot is Tony West. He is a prominent defense lawyer who made his fame defending John Walker Lindh. A man who calls himself an American Terrorist and who is currently in jail for working with al Qaeda.

So looking at the big picture here. We have a president that just appointed a traitor into a major office seat at the Department of Justice. Where is the Justice in that?

Obama

"You can't change Washington from the inside" That's what Obama said today on Univision. A very strange and probably true statement. Not a big deal until you read the rest of his comments. He said he had to get things done on the outside. Such as Obama care. That comment makes me a little uncomfortable. He has shown the knack of wanting to do things on his own but doing them outside the two other branches of government? That is something a dictator or someone the likes if Putin does. Uses his power and executive privilege to do things outside the law. He may feel strongly about his positions but there are rules and regulations in place in this country to prevent 1 man from having too much power. Once one person shows how its done, what is to stop the next person from doing the same? The only way it stops is for the public to not allow it. Which is highly unlikely with the mainstream media in Obama's lap. The people aren't shown everything that is going on. Its up to us to dig and find the info, its not hard to find, and it is even easier to interpret. The real news is out there. We must not be afraid of what we find. It is our duty to question the government, for people in power are only in need of more power. Question authority.

Rant number 1: Mayor Bloomberg

This is my first blog. I currently have no followers so this will be more of a journal entry than a publication. Today, news came out that response times in New York for police have slowed to over 8 min. The slowest time in the Bloomberg era. Great news for the unfortunate soles that have to live under his tyranny. (see: soda debate, illegal stop and frisk, gun control, police go on strike) I mean great news very honestly. Its great in the sense that his illegal attempts to change the laws allowing him to rule longer than laws allow might be for not. For why would people want such an inept, out of touch leader? His views on just about everything pertaining to leading are insane. First he says cops should strike until the population gives up their second amendment rights, then response time is 8 mins. You know what they say, "when seconds matter, police are only minutes away." A 1911 is much quicker and more reliable that 911. Until police prove they can protect me, aka PREVENT crimes, not SOLVE them, I will continue to be a second amendment advocate. For Mr. Bloomberg is the reason we own guns. To prevent the tyranny of government.

Thanks for reading
